As a “mobile” senior center, we bring art, leisure and recreational activities to older adults in the buildings where they live. Our programming serves to provide social connection while targeting cognitive and physical functioning through crafts, games, and fitness. Richmond Aging and Engaging are are licensed and trained to implement the intergenerational Opening Minds through Art Program and Bingocize® Falls Prevention Program.
We train students in health-related professional programs to conduct rollator safety inspections and complete repairs to ensure safe mobility. We conduct pop-up repair clinics at our program sites and in the community.
