Through hands-on learning and easy-to-follow instruction, you’ll learn how to choose the right equipment, keep rollators in good working order, and make simple repairs when needed. Whether you’re a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or someone who just wants to help, we’ll give you the tools to get started!

Whether you’re a rollator user, a caregiver, or just want to help others, this training is open to all. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
Costs
This training is completely free! Thanks to a grant from the Virginia Center on Aging, we are able to pilot this program at no cost to participants. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn valuable rollator repair skills at no charge!
Training Tracks
We offer two specialized training tracks to meet the needs of different learners.

This track provides a general overview of how to obtain a rollator, how to select the correct equipment, and practical, easy-to-follow guidance for basic maintenance and repairs.
This track is appropriate for rollator users, caregivers (including CNAs), case managers, and other non-healthcare folks who engage with rollator users.
Healthcare Professional Track
This track offers a deeper, more in-depth look at clinical considerations, insurance and reimbursement processes, documentation, and best practices for helping patients obtain and maintain the right rollator for their needs. It also includes hands-on training in basic rollator maintenance and repairs to better support patient safety and mobility.
